When you enter the USSC page…
Single Application: Select “Apply” next to Single Application if you are the only person listed on the lease or purchase agreement
Joint Application: Select “Apply” next to Joint Application if you and another person are listed on the lease or purchase agreement. Selecting Joint Application will divide the fee between both parties. Both parties will complete a Joint Application at the same time listing the other as an ‘additional occupant.’
